Job summary

Wilson Sporting Goods Co. is seeking a Toolmaker to join our R&D team at the Innovation Center in Rosemount. The role involves interpreting sketches, planning tooling, and operating CNC and manual machines to bring parts from concept to life.

We require a high school diploma or GED with 2–5 years of CNC experience, knowledge of MasterCam and SolidWorks, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED plus 2–5 years of CNC setup, programming and operation experience.
• Knowledge of MasterCam and SolidWorks required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Interpret specifications by studying sketches and descriptions to determine materials and machining approach.
• Plan layouts, determine assembly methods, and build tooling to spec within timelines.
• Operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders and other shop equipment with precision.
• Verify dimensions and manufacturability; suggest design improvements.
• Fabricate prototypes, fixtures, and close‑tolerance parts; maintain equipment.
• Collaborate with Prototype Shop Manager and communicate timelines.
