ABOUT OUR COMPANY:

We are a privately-held independent metal fabrication company that produces components used in a wide range of industries. Our goal is to provide products and services that meet our customers' needs in a timely fashion with the highest level of quality and value.

Our capabilities include metal stamping, laser cutting, brake forming, tubular stamped components, CNC and Swiss machined parts, wire forms, thread rolling, weldments, and integrated assemblies. Our modern facility includes a complete in-house tool and die department and fastener distributorship.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1st shift: Monday through Friday 7am-3pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create and repair tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used within the manufacturing process.
  • Study blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to plan sequence of operations for the tool.
  • Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, gage blocks, micrometers, and dial calipers.
  • Visualize and compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of assemblies based on specifications.
  • Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify tools using machine tools and hand tools.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Enrollment in or certification from college or technical school required.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attendance and a positive, "can do" attitude.
EXPERIENCE (PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED):
  • Three to five years of tool room experience.
  • Solidworks and/or MasterCAM experience.
  • CNC programming experience.
  • One or more years of CNC machine operating experience.
