Job summary

Integer Holdings Corporation is seeking a skilled tool room technician to perform semi-standardized assignments under supervisor guidance. You will study CAD specs, plan sequences, and operate CNC mills, EDMs, grinders, and lathes to construct and repair tool fixtures.

Minimum education is a high school diploma with 5–7 years of related experience; an Associate's Degree is preferred. The role requires attention to quality, safety, and documentation in a collaborative R&D/Production environment.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Quality, Safety, and regulatory requirements including FDA regulations and company policies.
• Studies specifications from CAD models and blueprints and plans operation sequence.
• Operates tool room equipment (CNC mill, EDMs, grinders, lathes) to construct or repair tools, dies, jigs and fixtures.
• Maintains documentation of work produced.
• Collaborates with R&D, PD&E, EHSS, Production, and Quality Associates daily.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to perform semi-standardized or semi-prescribed assignments, requiring utilization of good judgment and problem solving skills. Selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment. Receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, and technical advice from supervisor or engineer.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
• Studies specifications from CAD models, blueprints, sketches or tool descriptions and plans sequence of operation to construct with moderate supervision.
• Operates tool room equipment at a high-level of competency which may include, but is also not limited to: CNC mill, CNC Electrical Discharge Machines (EDMs), manual and/or wire EDMs, surface grinders, manual mills, manual lathes, drill presses, and array of hand tools.
• Constructs and/or repairs a variety of tool, dies, jigs, gauges and fixtures to close tolerances.
• Maintains proper documentation of work produced.
• Interacts horizontally with R&D, PD&E, EHSS, Production, and Quality Associates on a daily basis.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum Education: High School graduate required. Associate's Degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum Experience: High school graduate with 5-7 years of related experience. Associate's Degree with 1-3 years of related experience.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Special Skills: Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to apply it in operating tool room equipment.

• Specialized Knowledge: Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints. Good computer operation skills.
• Other: Self and quality driven person.

Pay Range: $25.38 - $37.23

Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions.
