Job summary

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Mold Technician to support production by maintaining molds in a ready state. The role involves repairing and servicing molds, requiring a high school diploma and participation in an apprenticeship program. Ideal candidates will possess basic knowledge of injection molding and good communication skills.

Job description

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or GED required.
2. General knowledge of Injection Molding and manufacturing operations preferred.
3. Basic mold tooling and assembly knowledge preferred.
4. Enrollment/participation in the apprenticeship program required.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Basic computer experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Support production by maintaining all molds in a production-ready state.
2. Repair, clean, service, and perform insert changes on all molds.
3. Wire hot runners, hot sprue, thermocouples, and replace hot runner components.
4. Wire limit switches.
5. Perform cleaning, lubrication, and polishing.
6. Must enroll and participate in the apprenticeship program.
