Cirrus Aircraft in Grand Forks, North Dakota is looking for a Tooling Technician to perform maintenance on production tooling. This includes inspecting and replacing components, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and repairing production equipment.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, three years of relevant experience, and strong mechanical skills. Cirrus offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental, 401K, and discounts at various partners.
The tooling technician’s main role will be to perform maintenance on production tooling. This will include inspecting the diameter of bushings and replacing, if necessary, mold buffing/taping, mold repair (metal and composite), and replacing casters. Other tasks might include troubleshooting mechanical systems, creating specialty tooling, and fixing broken production equipment. Wears proper protective equipment during appropriate job functions. Complies with all paperwork, such as work instructions, that govern job duties.
Schedule: Friday - Sunday, 5am - 5:30pm. OT as required.
