Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Tooling Maintenance Technician to support injection molding operations on the production floor in Northwood, Ohio. You will respond to press calls, troubleshoot tooling issues, and perform preventative maintenance on molds, including replacing fittings, water lines, and other components.

Occasional welding and light machining may be required. Document maintenance activities in the company system and collaborate with the tooling team to keep production running

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tooling, mechanical maintenance, or related trade experience.
• Solid background in tooling, machining, mold maintenance, or repair.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to press calls and troubleshoot tooling issues on the production floor.
• Perform preventive maintenance on molds and tooling, including replacing fittings and water lines.
• Document maintenance activities in the company's system and coordinate with the tooling team to keep production running smoothly.
• Occasionally weld or perform light machining as needed.

Position: Tooling Maintenance Technician

Location: Northwood, Ohio

Duration: PERM

Shift: 2nd Shift (3pm start time)

OT: Sat is 1.5x and Sun 2x & volunteer based

Travel: No

Interview Process: 2 rounds - in person

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of tooling, mechanical maintenance, or related trade experience.
• Solid background in tooling, machining, mold maintenance, or repair.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a team environment.

Preferred:

• Data entry on computers - IMaintenance and MaintenanceX preferred.

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Tooling Maintenance Technician that will work primarily on the production floor supporting injection molding operations by responding to press calls, troubleshooting tooling issues, and performing preventative maintenance on molds. Prepare, clean, repair, and maintain injection molds and tooling, including replacing fittings, water lines, and other components as needed. Perform occasional welding and light machining work, document maintenance activities in the company's system, and work closely with the tooling team to keep production running efficiently.
