Job summary

STEICO Industries, Inc., a Senior plc company, seeks a skilled first-shift operator to run SLA tooling and assemble fixtures. You will start builds, manage material flow, and assist in linking tooling to work orders to reduce downtime.

This role requires blueprint interpretation, basic math, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel. Prior manufacturing experience is essential; we value safety, accuracy and teamwork on site.

Qualifications

• Blueprints/drawings interpretation and fabrication experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate respectfully with coworkers and customers in writing and speaking.
• Requires English verbal and written skills.
• Basic math skills for simple calculations.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate SLA machines, start builds and remove completed builds.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of SLA machines.
• Operate waterjet to create required fixture components.
• Assemble SLA and machined parts to produce assembly tools for inspection.
• Perform visual inspection of purchased machined components.
• Assist with tool coordination to link jobs with work orders as needed.
• Operate shop equipment such as bandsaw, manual lathe, and sander.
• Perform other duties as needed by business and operations.
• Wear PPE as required for the department.
