Steico Industries, Inc. in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Tool Designer to design assembly and shop tooling, create 2D CAD drawings, and support shop floor inquiries. The role requires 5 years of tool design experience in a manufacturing setting and fluency in English.
You will work Monday–Friday during the AM shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) with pay ranging from $22 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. A strong background in 2D/3D CAD and rapid prototyping is preferred.

As a Tool Designer you will:
Perform design and tooling manufacturing activities within the tool design department and maintain tooling design conformity that meets or exceeds customer requirement. Perform design activity on assembly and shop tooling to be produced using conventional machining techniques as well as rapid prototyping. Supports the department and business as a whole with shop floor, planning, quality, and MRB activities.
Education:
Associate's degree in engineering or equivalent on the job training
Experience:
5 years tool design in a manufacturing environment using 2D and 3D modeling software
