Job summary

rms Company, a Cretex Medical company, is seeking a Machinist Assistant/Kitter on 1st Shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00am–3:00pm) to assemble toolboxes, manage the kitting process, and prepare setup sheets for the manufacturing floor.

You will read prints, inspect tools with a microscope, maintain daily logs, and collaborate with tool crib, production, and quality teams while upholding ISO and medical device requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assemble tooling boxes and paperwork for jobs on the floor.
• Manage the kitting process: part programs, setup sheets, records, and inventory.
• Inspect tools with a microscope and other inspection equipment.
• Maintain daily logs and communicate with tool crib and production.
• Support ISO and medical device quality requirements.
