Job summary

rms Company, a Cretex Medical company, is seeking a Tool Room Machinist I for the 1st shift to program, set up, and operate CNC and manual toolroom equipment to manufacture precision tooling components from CAD models.

You will read engineering drawings, design fixtures, perform maintenance, document activities in required databases, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure toolroom excellence and compliance with ISO and medical device standards.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1 year of machining precision components experience preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture fixturing and tooling from drawings.
• Build reliable tooling components on time.
• Perform maintenance on Toolroom equipment.
• Document maintenance and build activities in databases.
• Design specialty fixturing with assistance.
• Set up and operate CNC and manual toolroom equipment.
• Read and follow work instructions and SOPs.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams.
