Job summary

FieldCore, a GE Vernova service entity, is hiring a Tooling Associate I to inventory, inspect, and assemble toolkits for site projects within a warehouse environment in Syracuse, NY. You will coordinate supplies, perform quality checks, and ensure timely completion of kits while following safety standards and training requirements.

This entry-level role requires a high school diploma with 0-2 years’ experience, basic computer skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years of experience in tool handling or a warehouse environment.
• Basic computer knowledge (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, email).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with flexibility to changing priorities.
• Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Inventory, inspect, test, and complete toolkits for site projects.
• Update project schedules as toolkits are completed and inspected.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Coordinate, label, and package supplies for outages.
• Perform quality checks on kits and ensure calibration certificates where applicable.
• Complete required annual safety training and adhere to site protocols.
• May operate forklifts and move toolkits as needed.
• Travel as required by field assignments.
