Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in inventory management, purchasing, or related roles in manufacturing.
• Residence within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC required.
• No immigration sponsorship is offered.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Experience with CMMS and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage inventory strategies to support manufacturing continuity.
• Set inventory parameters: min/max, reorder points, safety stock, and cycle counts.
• Analyze usage, shortages, excess, and purchasing trends to reduce costs.
• Manage supplier relationships: open orders, cost, delivery, quality, and service.
• Lead sourcing and cost-reduction activities; create requisitions and POs.
• Prioritize material requirements and resolve issues impacting operations.
• Implement standardized inventory-control, purchasing, tool crib, and asset management processes.
• Oversee tool issuance, tracking, replenishment, receipt, and storage.
• Manage tool and equipment lifecycle: repair, replacement, calibration, warranty.
• Generate and monitor inventory and purchasing KPIs.
• Forecast material needs with cross-functional teams.
• Lead continuous-improvement on inventory, cost, and 5S.
• Provide leadership recommendations on investments and supplier performance.
• Maintain safe, inclusive environment and compliance with safety standards.
