Job summary

BW Papersystems, part of the Barry-Wehmiller Group, is hiring a full-time Tool Crib Attendant at the Hunt Valley facility. You will perform tool setting and crib operations, receive and issue tools, and maintain accurate records in the tool management system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Typically requires 4+ years’ experience in machine shop methods and practices.
• Pay range provided is $24–$34/hour as a good faith estimate at posting time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of location, quantity, usage, receipt/issuance in the tool management system.
• Maintain stock levels and prepare reports as directed.
• Issue tools and gauges; deliver/receive tools and document in the system.
• Inspect tools and gauges for reconditioning, replacement or repair.
• Collaborate with engineering and machine shop on tooling needs and purchases.
• Detect defective materials or improper operation and report to supervision.
• Follow safety protocols in all tasks.
• Read drawings/spec sheets and interpret tool specifications.
