Job summary

Prince Industries, a long-standing manufacturing partner, is hiring for a Tooling/Inventory Clerk in Titusville, FL. You will receive, verify, and store hand tools and equipment, generate purchase requisitions, and maintain accurate records across shifts.

Key duties include inspecting tools, issuing equipment to workers, cycle counting, and preparing monthly inventory reports. The role emphasizes safety and quality certifications, with a 6:30am–3:00pm schedule and hourly pay of $20–$24.

Qualifications

• Read safety rules and operation manuals to perform tasks correctly.
• Write routine reports and maintain clear records of activities.
• Perform basic shop math calculations for measurements and quantities.
• Communicate clearly with all levels within the company.
• Input data accurately using PC systems and software tools.
• Understand tooling concepts and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receives, verifies, and records all incoming tools and equipment daily.
• Generates purchase requisitions for low inventory items and requests items to be reordered based on usage.
• Reports potentially excessive item usage to department supervisor.
• Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
• Issues and receives tools and equipment to workers.
• Maintains records of tools and equipment that are issued and returned.
• Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment while running cycle counts to verify inventory.
• Prepares monthly reports and distributes them to department supervisor (inventory evaluation, usage, open purchase requisition).
• Identifies, repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment as needed.
• Delivers tools or equipment to workers when appropriate.
