Job summary

Jobot in Minnesota seeks a Tooling Engineer to advance ductile iron casting programs. You will build tooling in SolidWorks, run MAGMA simulations, and drive yield and process improvements across the casting line.

Collaborate with customers and account teams on new product development, support quoting, launches, testing and validation, and bring new technology into operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related field; bachelor's preferred.
• Two or more years hands-on CAD modeling, blueprint reading and manufacturability.
• Manufacturing background in foundry, tooling design, casting simulation or CNC machining a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

What we’re looking for

• Associate degree in engineering or a related field, bachelor's preferred
• Two or more years working hands on with CAD modeling, blueprint reading and design for manufacturability
• Manufacturing background required, foundry, tooling design, casting simulation or CNC machining experience is a strong plus
• Strong problem solver who communicates well and works across teams easily
