Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in tooling design, manufacturing, and maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software for tooling design and analysis.
• Knowledge of GD&T, metrology, and quality control applied to tooling.
• Experience with CNC machining, EDM, grinding and toolroom equipment.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops tooling, fixtures, and jigs for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborates with design and production teams to optimize tooling for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Conducts root cause analysis of tooling failures and implements corrective actions.
• Manages tooling inventory, maintenance schedules, and procurement.
• Implements and maintains tooling standards and documentation.
• Evaluates new tooling technologies and materials for potential application.
