Hood Container Corporation in Dalton, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Tool and Die Technician (Corrugated Packaging) for 1st shift. You will manage tooling assets including dies and plates to support production schedules and quality standards.

This role coordinates between design and production, maintains records, and coordinates preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize tooling performance.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in tooling coordination or related roles.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the procurement, maintenance, and inventory of printing plates, cutting dies, and related tooling to support production needs.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to understand tooling requirements and specifications for new and existing products.
• Track tooling usage, condition, and lifecycle status, ensuring timely repairs or replacements to prevent production delays.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to tooling assets, including maintenance schedules, calibration data, and compliance reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize tooling processes and reduce costs.
