Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Tooling Design Engineer in Evansville to design molds and tooling for injection-molded products, support rebuilds and reverse engineering projects, and drive manufacturability improvements.

You will create 3D CAD models, update legacy designs, collaborate with Product Development and plant teams, and ensure compliance with ISO standards while promoting safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Design and develop new plastic injection molds for prototype and production manufacturing.
• Collaborate with other engineers to modify and improve product designs for manufacturability.
• Follow ISO standards and safety procedures in all mold design activities.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D CAD models of mold components and tooling.
• Develop, maintain and revise mold drawings and BOMs.
• Communicate with vendors about mold builds and tooling updates.
• Support startup of new production tooling and optimize tooling performance.
• Update legacy mold designs to improve manufacturability.
