Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Process Engineer (Tool Design) to design and develop fixture and tooling on-site in Rolling Meadows, IL. You will work with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and test activities, driving improvements and ensuring tool performance.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background with tool design experience, DoD clearance or the ability to obtain it, and US citizenship. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• The ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Develop fixture and tooling design concepts to aid manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, and production.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving projects.
• Assist engineering with tool design and redesign.
• Direct new tool build, spare component, and tool maintenance.
• Support the Test Equipment Engineering team with drawings and submittals.
