Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Tooling associate for a manufacturing provider in Tonawanda, NY. The role operates on 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm, Mon-Fri) with rotating overtime as needed and a payrate of $23.50 per hour.

The position involves tooling delivery, basic tool reconditioning, use of measuring devices, data entry, and supporting engineering on plant failure studies. Candidates should be mechanically inclined with good attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Basic knowledge of materials and tooling.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand long periods.
• High school Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for routine delivery of tooling and from facilities and keep tools clean between usage.
• Operates simple hand tools to recondition tools (i.e. screwdrivers, wrenches etc.).
• Operate tool measuring devices- hand & computer system gauges.
• Operate computer equipment to store and/or communicate test results and billing system.
• Report and document non-conformance and corrective actions.
• Assist engineering team with completion of plant failure studies.
