Galaxy Technologies is seeking an Assembly Helper in Winfield, KS to join our production team. This full-time role involves supporting daily operations, following supervisor instructions, and maintaining quality standards across projects.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, operate basic equipment, and help keep a safe, efficient workspace. Strong communication and time-management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, procedure manuals and job instructions.
• Ability to communicate detailed information to coworkers and management in writing and verbally.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to operate a computer and software including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use hoist and forklift in a safe manner.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Strong time management and prioritization to meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtains information from assigned supervisor on daily job requirements.
• Completes assignments within due date and/or ties in with supervisor.
• Maintains quality standards by participating in projects and understanding tasks.
• Performs maintenance on department machinery, equipment, and tools as assigned.
• Becomes familiar with the quality system requirements.
• Stress Relieve Material (Vibratory), Sand Blast raw material (Pulmonary test), operate Power Washer.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by following procedures and securing tools at day end.
• Contributes to team effort by actively participating in team meetings.
• Provides assistance to coworkers and other departments as needed.
