Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Equipment Custodian/Toolroom Technician to manage bench stock, tools, TOs and TMDE, ensuring strict accountability and proper calibration scheduling. You will operate the automated accountability system and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment ready for use.

The role requires flexibility to work day, swing, night, or weekend shifts, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of applicable government documents, directives and technical orders.
• Minimum of one year experience with MIS/SBSS interface or related computer experience.
• Familiarity with Fed Log system is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stocks, controls, and inventories bench stock, tools, T.O.'s and TMDE per procedures.
• Issues tools and equipment from the tool room and maintains strict accountability.
• Uses automated tool accountability system to prevent loss of equipment.
• Performs preventative and minor maintenance on tools and support equipment.
• Ensures tools are clean, oiled, and serviceable and properly identified for inventory.
• Manages calibration schedules for TMDE and removes overdue items for testing.
• Performs Equipment Custodian duties and handles CA/CRL documentation.
• Acts as building custodian including escort duties and Zamboni operations.
• Assists in snow removal and maintains good housekeeping and safety.
• May perform other duties including temporary duty and travel; can work day, swing, night, or weekend shifts.
