Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Part-Time Cashier to assist customers at checkout and uphold our brand standards. You’ll help ensure a quick, friendly, hassle-free experience so customers can get in, get out and get back to the job at hand.

We offer competitive pay ($13.00 - $18.90 per hour), flexible scheduling for a part-time role, and a comprehensive benefits package for those working 30+ hours per week, with options like Daily Pay and an employee discount.

Qualifications

Retail sales or cashier experience admired, but not required.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Love of tools and equipment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Service-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

Greeting all customers as they enter the store and insuring they enjoy the best shopping experience possible.
Completing all transactions quickly and accurately.
Offering our Protection Plan on all eligible products and offering our credit card on all customer transactions.
Being a team player by helping put away product, execute price changes, or other tasks that may help your team better serve our customers.
