Job summary

Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership in Northfield, NH is seeking a Tool Shop Operator for 2nd shift to set up and operate CNC machines and support precision component production. You will prepare tooling, execute machine setups, and ensure quality through measurements and inspections, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires the ability to work a 2nd shift, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a commitment to Lean practices and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines and lathes to produce precision components per drawings and specs.
• Prepare tooling, machine setups, and raw materials while following safety standards and PPE requirements.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools to verify conformance.
• Sharpen, maintain, and replace cutting tools and tooling equipment to maximize machine performance.
• Process raw materials and finished components to support tool room, machining, and production operations.
• Operate heat treat ovens and related equipment per process specs and quality requirements.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, preventive maintenance, and workplace organization initiatives.
• Pay up to $35.91/hour depending on experience
