Job summary

Engineered Profiles LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking a hands-on Tool Shop Supervisor to lead a die shop team operating CNC, EDM and conventional machining equipment. You will supervise day-to-day tooling activities, guide safety practices, and ensure on-time production with high quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in tooling, strong CNC/EDM skills, and 3+ years of supervisory experience, with a background in reading blueprints and CAD/CAM workflows.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or degree preferred.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in tool & die, with strong CNC and EDM operations.
At least 3 years of leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of die makers, CNC machinists, and EDM operators.
Assign daily tasks and manage work priorities to meet production needs.
Train and mentor team members on safe and efficient machining practices.
Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
Provide hands-on support and guidance in complex or urgent repair situations.
