Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Londonderry, NH seeks a Tool Service Manager to lead the Burndy tool service team, set pricing, manage repair center audits, and coordinate onsite training for customers across the US.

The role requires strong leadership, process discipline, and collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, quality and purchasing to ensure top-tier customer service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience leading a team of 8+ technicians and day-to-day operations.
• Strong communication skills for groups of managers and customers.
• Experience managing a P&L and repair/service operations preferred.
• Six Sigma experience or certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of service technicians and ensure adherence to processes.
• Develop pricing strategies for repairs and spare parts with ARC partners.
• Oversee audits of Burndy Authorized Tool Repair Centers across the US.
• Coordinate training for visiting customers and travel to sites for training.
• Monitor service levels, productivity, and revenue/margin reporting monthly.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, purchasing and quality teams.
• Drive warranty policy management and cost benchmarking.
• Lead continuous improvement of tool service processes and SOPs.
• Support new product development to minimize service requirements.
