Job summary

Nebraska Aluminum Castings is hiring a Tool Room Assistant to support our tool room, die and plastics injection molding processes. You will alter, repair, clean, maintain, and assemble tooling and gauges, using milling, CNC, lathes and grinders with precision to meet customer specs.

No prior experience is required, but candidates with tool and die experience will be prioritized. The role operates on the first shift, with a signing bonus offered after six months of employment.

Qualifications

• No experience or post-secondary education is required; however, candidates with tool and die experience will be prioritized.
• Ability to work in a hot work environment and operate manual equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support tool room, die and plastics injection molding processes.
• Alter, repair, clean, maintain and assemble tooling, injection mold dies, tools, fixtures and gauges.
• Perform bench and machine operations to construct, alter or repair die-casting molds and dies.
• Operate milling machines, CNC machines, engine lathes and grinders with precision instruments.
• Verify conformance of parts to customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
