Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. is seeking a skilled Tool Room Technician in Delmont, PA, to support manufacturing by maintaining tooling inventory, repairing and preparing tools, and sourcing tooling and supplies.

The role collaborates with production, engineering, quality, and planning teams to ensure tooling is available and ready for safe, efficient production. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing tools, operating CNC lathes and grinders, maintaining accurate tooling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
• Prev. tool grinding experience preferred.
• Ability to operate CNC lathes, surface grinders, and vertical milling machines to produce/modify tooling.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of GD&T and reading blueprints.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, refurbish, and grind cutting tools and fixtures to meet production needs.
• Operate CNC lathes, surface grinders, and vertical mills to make tooling adjustments.
• Presets and verifies tooling dimensions before release to production.
• Maintain tooling inventory and coordinate replenishment to prevent delays.
• Organize storage areas for safe, accessible tool handling.
• Source, evaluate, and purchase tooling and supplies.
