Job summary

Martinrea Tech Tool and Die Inc. is seeking a skilled tool room supervisor to oversee toolmakers and apprentices, plan and schedule all tool room work, and manage external heat-treated components.

You will coordinate tooling orders, assist in scheduling, and help troubleshoot die builds with senior staff. The role requires five years in automotive tool rooms, a Tool and Die certificate, and strong knowledge of ISO/SPC/QS systems, CAD/CAM proficiency, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise toolmakers and apprentices.
• Plan and schedule tool room jobs per timeline.
• Control heat treated components from outside suppliers.
• Schedule tooling components and supplies.
• Assist Tool Room Manager in product scheduling.
• Troubleshoot die build problems with leads.
• Plan tool room equipment maintenance.
• Record daily job numbers and hours.
