Turner Industries in Decatur, AL is seeking a Tool Room Attendant to receive, store, and distribute tools and materials. The role involves maintaining inventory, following safety procedures, and adhering to site policies while supporting project needs.

Responsibilities include stocking, tracking items, signing off on safety documents, and executing tasks as directed by the foreman. This non-exempt position emphasizes tool handling, organization, and safety on site.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience in the specified skill
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and safety equipment
• Knowledge of Turner Industries color codes for power tools, rigging, and safety equipment
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Responsabilidades

• Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift
• Stores, removes, loads, and unloads all types of materials and tools from storage bins, pallets and vehicles that cannot be handled by material handling devices
• Operates manual or mechanical devices and stocks inventory shelves; arranges materials by size, type, style, or color
• Fills requisitions for materials, tools, or stock items; records items received or distributed; maintains inventory records
• Performs routine housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work area; supports a safe work environment at all times
• Performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction
