Job summary

Taural India is seeking a skilled tool technician to support CNC tooling, set-up changes, and tool life optimization on our shop floor. You will assist with NPD tool assembly, transfers, and prove-out, ensuring clean, organized tool cribs and timely procurement collaboration.

Ideal candidates will have experience with CNC operations, Zoller presetting, and ERP/SAP, along with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to track stock, costs, and trials.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CNC, VMC, HMC operations.
• Experience with Zoller presetting.
• Proficient with MS Excel and ERP/SAP.

Responsibilities

• Tool setting, movement, and setup change support.
• NPD tool assembly, transfer, and prove-out.
• Tool cleaning and maintenance coordination.
• Tool life monitoring and improvement.
• Inventory management and monthly stock checks.
• Tool procurement coordination with purchase.
• Supplier handling for tool issues and regrinding follow-up.
• 5S implementation and tool crib organization.
• Support tool trials, cost reduction, and standardization.
• Ensure tool availability and minimize machine stoppage.
