Job summary

Visser Precision is seeking a knowledgeable Tool Room Manager in a full-time, on-site role in Denver, CO. The candidate will oversee tooling operations, organize cutting tools and hardware, and implement standardized systems for storage, tracking, and distribution during ongoing manufacturing expansion.

The role requires a strong CNC tooling background, solid inventory practices, and the ability to drive efficiency with scalable processes, collaborating with CNC programming and engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Manage daily tool room operations and inventory.
• Organize and maintain cutting tools, toolholders, hardware, and manufacturing supplies.
• Develop standardized systems for tooling storage, identification, tracking, and distribution.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate purchasing, and maintain stock availability.
• Develop and implement a standardized process for building, identifying, inspecting, and preparing CNC tooling assemblies for specific machining projects.
• Coordinate with CNC programming and engineering to ensure tooling assemblies meet job requirements and are ready for production.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and develop scalable processes that support company growth.

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable, organized, and proactive Tool Room Manager to oversee and develop our tooling department as our manufacturing operations continue to expand. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machining tools, hardware, and manufacturing components, along with the ability to establish efficient inventory systems and standardized processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily tool room operations and inventory.
• Organize and maintain cutting tools, toolholders, hardware, and manufacturing supplies.
• Develop standardized systems for tooling storage, identification, tracking, and distribution.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate purchasing, and maintain stock availability.
• Develop and implement a standardized process for building, identifying, inspecting, and preparing CNC tooling assemblies for specific machining projects.
• Coordinate with CNC programming and engineering to ensure tooling assemblies meet job requirements and are ready for production.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
