Starting Pay: $36.04 - $41.19 per hour & $5,000 Sign-on Bonus

Position Overview

Perform machine shop tasks including tooling preset, tool regrind activities, and other related duties.

Responsibilities

• Manual Mill
• Manual Lathe
• Grinding
• Welding
• Miscellaneous handwork
• Manual and CNC regrinding
• Presetting of holders and cutters
• Small tear down and assembly jobs

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of machine shop or cutting tool regrind experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read blueprints and use micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD/CAM software (Mastercam)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Effective time management and flexible team player
• Self-motivated

Additional Details

• Overtime: 0-12 hours per week
• Occasional weekend and holiday work
• Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift long-term
• Potential for 1-week domestic travel per year for training
• Travel with training and new machine installations possible
• Workstyle: Onsite
