Qualifications

• Ability to service and troubleshoot fixtures within the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all Tool Room equipment, including Grinding, Turning, and Milling Machines.
• Program CNC machines and assist with the Tool Room’s service door for component and machining needs.
• Rigging parts and materials up to 10,000 lbs.

Job description

Set-up and operate all Manual/Conversational, and CNC machines including Lathes, Mills, Grinders (OD, ID, & Surface), Key-seater, EDM, drill presses, and band saws to ensure optimal manufacturing, IG, and assembly production. Additional tasks include servicing housing and gear department fixtures, assisting at the Service Gate for parts from the Tool Room's inventory, and tool setting. Must be willing to grow with the company as we expand our capabilities.

Shift: 1st Shift and 3rd Shift

Education/Experience: Applicable certifications and/or at least 10 years of experience as a machinist.
