Turtle, a long-standing electrical distribution company, seeks a Tool Room Attendant/Vending Specialist to maintain tools and supplies at the Warsaw, IN site. You will manage tool intake, stock replenishment, and vending machine upkeep, collaborating with maintenance and manufacturing staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating supply cribs on a daily basis.
• Experience with computer-managed inventory systems.
• Mechanical or industrial background preferred.
• Experience working with maintenance and manufacturing personnel a plus.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment; requisition stock to replenish inventory.
• Responsible for replenishment and maintenance of stocked vending machines.
• Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Mark and identify tools and equipment with tags or markings.
• Inventory management of tools and equipment; coordinate customer needs.
• Identify cost-saving initiatives related to tooling and supplies.
• Deliver tools and equipment to workers, manually or with a hand truck.
• Assist with optimizing scheduled maintenance operations to reduce breakdowns.
• Inspect tools and equipment for defects and wear; report issues to supervisor.
