Job summary

Turtle is seeking a Tool Room Attendant/Vending Specialist to manage tools and supplies on site for our client. You’ll receive, unpack, and store items, replenish inventory, and handle cycle counts to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include maintaining vending machines, tagging tools, coordinating deliveries, and supporting maintenance scheduling while identifying cost-saving opportunities. A flexible, customer-focused approach is essential in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with the daily operation of supply cribs.
• Professional phone demeanor.
• Experience with computer managed inventory systems.
• Mechanical or Industrial background preferred.
• Ability to be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment and replenishes inventory.
• Replenishes and maintains stocked vending machines.
• Performs cycle counting and inventory tracking.
• Marks and identifies tools and equipment.
• Keeps area clean and organized; supports maintenance operations.
• Delivers tools and equipment to workers as needed.
• Identifies cost-saving opportunities and coordinates with supervision.

About the Role

The Tool Room Attendant/Vending Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and issuing the tools and supplies used in the production supply crib located on the site of our client.

What You'll Do

• Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment and requisitions stock to replenish inventory
• Responsible for replenishment and maintenance of stocked vending machines.
• Cycle counting
• Mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool
• General housekeeping
• Inventory management of tools and equipment
• Coordinate customer needs
• Identify cost savings initiatives
• Delivers tools, equipment or product to workers, manually or using hand truck
• Assist with optimizing scheduled maintenance operations to reduce breakdowns
• Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects and wear and report damage or wear to supervisor
