Job summary

Responsibilities include issuing tools, monitoring condition, performing minor repairs, tracking usage, marking tools, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in tool room management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in production, particularly in nutraceutical or pharmaceutical industries.
• Ability to follow written instructions precisely and perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Issue and track tools to production and maintenance teams; ensure safe and efficient tool return.
• Monitor the condition of tools, ensuring all equipment is serviced, calibrated, and in good working order.
• Perform minor repairs, including sanding out dents or imperfections.
• Issue tools to production and maintenance staff based on production schedules or urgent needs.
• Track tool usage and ensure that tools are returned in good condition.
• Ensure all tools are properly marked for identification and easily accessible.
• Maintain accurate records of all tools, equipment, and parts in the tool room.
