Job summary

TAS Energy is seeking a Tool Room Attendant to manage tool issuance, inventory, and related documentation in a manufacturing setting in Missouri. The role involves coordinating with shop personnel, scheduling tool maintenance, and sourcing tools and consumables while maintaining orderly records.

Ideal candidates will have strong organization, basic computer skills, and proficiency with Excel/Word. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 2+ years in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word, including recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of issued tools and monitor tool room inventory.
• Receive new tools and schedule preventive maintenance for equipment.
• Order all necessary tools and equipment for shop personnel.
• Obtain price quotes from suppliers.
• Submit new orders for approval.
• Request purchase orders from Purchasing.
• Keep tools and consumables well-organized.
• Document reporting information.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and departments.
• Maintain communication with shop leads and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by TAS.
