Job summary

American Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a mechanically inclined candidate for a first-shift die maintenance role in New Berlin, WI. The job involves die setting, grinding, polishing, repair, and general tool room upkeep for stamping and punch press dies. Training will be provided for CNC and manual machining tasks.

You will work with a range of hand and power tools, machine tools, and die equipment under supervision. Benefits include health insurance, dental, 401K, and more.

Responsibilities

• Die maintenance, die setting, grinding, polishing and general tool room repair for stamping and punch press dies.
• Operate hand and power tools, machine tools, tool and die equipment, and perform material handling.
• Support shop supervisor with learning CNC and manual machining tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Will train or experienced person. Job consists of many skills learned and applied including grinding dies and precision grinding, CNC machining, manual lathe and milling work, Die maintenance, mechanical assembly. The shop supervisor will train a mechanically inclined individual learn CNC and manual machining. Using a variety of hand and power tools, machine tools tool and die equipment, material handling forklifts etc. 1st shift-New Berlin, WI-Die Maintenance, die setting, grinding, polishing, repair and general tool room repair type-Stamping and Punch Press Dies-$20-$24/hour Health insurance,dental, 401K and more benefits. *****

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Mechanical ability, willingness to learn a trade. OR experience with CNC or manual machining, grinding, polishing etc. *****
