Job summary

Ziegler CAT is seeking a full-time Tool Room Attendant to support our shops and tool room. Responsibilities include maintaining a neat and orderly tool room, stocking tools, and assisting customers with loading/unloading parts and equipment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years in shop/yard, and safe operation of equipment such as forklifts. Generous benefits accompany this position in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience in shop or yard, operating equipment and forklifts.
• Dependable, self-starter, and hard-working.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Team-player and willing to help wherever needed.
• Maintains safe and organized work area.
• Able to operate required equipment safely (forklift, sprayers, equipment).

Responsibilities

• Transfers tools, components, parts, equipment and supplies to and from work stations and other areas.
• Assists with shop and facility cleanup and maintenance.
• Ships and receives components on nightly shuttle trucks.
• Provides assistance to other departments as requested.
• Greets and assists customers in the yard and loading bay.
• Safely loads and unloads customer trucks and pickups.
• Maintains a clean loading bay area.
• Cleans and maintains component washers and equipment.
