Job summary

Schaeffler Transmission Systems, LLC in Wooster, OH is seeking a tooling production engineer to execute the production of tooling components at the project level and collaborate with Tool Design. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute production of tooling components at the project level and collaborate with Tool Design.
• Manufacture components for production tools at the project level.
• Collaborate with Tool Design for tooling solutions.
• Apply QCD-optimized manufacturing processes for parts and assemblies.
• Support EnHS initiatives.
• Participate in inter-functional knowledge sharing and training programs.
• Improve production technologies in terms of quality, cost and robustness.
• Validate machines, tools and processes.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Execute the production of tooling components at the project level, collaborate with Tool Design, utilize QCD-optimized processes, support EnHS initiatives, and engage in cross-functional training and knowledge sharing.
• Execute the manufacturing of components for production tools on project level.
• Participate internally with Tool Design for the manufacturing of tooling solutions.
• Utilize QCD optimized manufacturing process for parts and assemblies.
• Ensure the proactive support for topics related to EnHS.
• Participate in inter-functional knowledge sharing and training programs.
• Improves production technologies in terms of quality, cost and robustness.
• Validates machines, tools and processes.

Your Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and Machinist Journeyman certification preferred; or apprenticeship .
