HellermannTyton North America is seeking a Toolmaker/Moldmaker to join our state-of-the-art Tool Room, building tooling per CAD and prints, maintaining molds, and supporting quality and EHS compliance.

You will work with the lead mold maker, train mold maintenance technicians and apprentices, and operate all tool room equipment. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is paid on your first paycheck.

Formación

• 3+ years of plastic injection molding building experience or successful completion of an apprenticeship program.
• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification/degree preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze engineering designs and CAD plans and models.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have own precision tools.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Build new tooling and components with minimum supervision.
• Identify and communicate tooling problems to lead mold maker or supervisor.
• Train mold maintenance technicians and apprentices.
• Operate all tool room equipment.
• Perform mold maintenance and in-press mold changes.
• Work overtime based on production needs.
• Work with QA to identify quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

TOOLMAKER / MOLDMAKER

Paid out on your first paycheck Join us and be a part of something truly special. You will work in a state-of-the-art Tool Room with a group of progressive Tool Makers.

What You Will Do:

The Toolmaker/Moldmaker is responsible for working with the lead mold maker to build new tooling per CAD or detailed prints, evaluate, maintain, and repair existing molds and production tooling. This will be achieved while maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation.

• Must be able to build new tooling and components with minimum supervision
• Identify and communicate any possible tooling problems to the lead mold maker or supervisor
• Must be able to work well with lead mold makers and train mold maintenance technicians and apprentices
• Must be able to operate all tool room equipment
• Must be able to perform mold maintenance and in-press mold changes
• Must be willing to work overtime based on production needs

Other Functions

• Work with QA to identify quality concerns
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Performs other tasks as assigned
• Required Personal Protective Equipment: safety shoes are to be worn at all times during your scheduled work hours.

What You Bring (Qualifications):

• 3+ years of plastic injection molding building experience or successful completion of an apprenticeship program.
• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification/degree is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledgeable in current mold-building techniques. This individual should have solid manufacturing concepts in plastic injection mold building
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze engineering designs and computer-based CAD plans and models.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have good problem-solving skills and be detail-oriented
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must have own precision tools
• Prior forklift experience preferred
