Job summary

Exelon is seeking an on-site Tool Repair Technician to maintain and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, gas-powered, battery-operated, and manual tools for PECO field crews in the Philadelphia area. The role requires organization, communication, and the ability to evaluate tools for purchase and provide field instructions.

Responsibilities include logging damaged tools, repairing tools returning from the field, and ensuring accurate progress tracking.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 12 months working experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, and gasoline engine repair. Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems diagnosis.
• Working knowledge of PC and mainframe computer technology such as Word, Excel, P-card, MCMS, and code block validation.
• Valid Driver's license
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test(s), background check(s) and physicals

Responsibilities

• Receive damaged tools and log them into software to track progress
• Repairs tools coming back from the field
