Job summary

Maschinenbau Windschiegl GmbH is establishing a new Tool Management role to organize our tool and equipment inventory and to help build a modern department. You’ll shape processes, implement a structured system, and take responsibility for the big picture from day one.

You will manage inventories, coordinate issuance and returns, ensure tools are complete and ready, and work closely with Production, Maintenance and Purchasing to document procedures and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• An apprenticeship as a machining technician (CNC) completed.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Interest in tools and equipment with a proactive approach to processes.
• Willingness to learn digital systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage our inventory of tools and equipment and keep them in the right place.
• Organize issuance and returns of tools.
• Check tools to ensure they are complete and ready for use.
• Handle maintenance, repairs and replacement purchases.
• Maintain inventory records and document relevant processes.
• Develop a structured and sustainable tool management system.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll manage our entire inventory of tools and equipment and ensure that everything is available in the right place at all times.


• You’ll organize the issuance and return of tools.


• You’ll check tools to ensure they’re complete and ready for use.


• You handle maintenance, repairs, and replacement purchases.


• You maintain inventory records and document all relevant processes.


• You will work with us to develop a structured and sustainable tool management system.


• You will work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Purchasing.

What You Bring to the Table

• A completed apprenticeship as a machining technician (CNC specialist).


• Technical understanding and an interest in tools and equipment.


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and in a structured manner.


• A passion for establishing new structures and improving processes.


• Proficiency with digital systems or a willingness to learn how to use them.


• Team spirit, reliability, and a sense of responsibility.
