Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, is seeking a tool and die repair technician for a 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM) with a 10% shift differential. The role involves constructing and maintaining molds and tooling in a production environment, reporting to the facilities supervisor, and working on site at the Ladysmith plant.

Responsibilities include modifying and repairing molds/tools, reading blueprints, and collaborating with engineers to solve tooling issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Follow written or verbal directions.
• Read printed materials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain molds.
• Modify, calibrate plastic injection mold tools, dies, jigs and fixtures.
• Repair or manufacture parts to maintain production tooling/molds.
• Confer with engineers, production and others to resolve tooling problems.
• Select, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools and materials on machines (mills, EDMs, lathes, grinders).
• Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications.
• Perform general maintenance on Toolroom equipment.
