Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Tool & Die Specialist II for the Top Cap department. The role involves maintaining progressive stamping die sets, troubleshooting press systems, and training junior specialists.

You will work nights in the D shift, coordinating with engineers and technicians to ensure high-quality tool performance. The ideal candidate has 3+ years with progressive dies, strong mechanical skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience with progressive die sets and press stamping in manufacturing.
• Working-level English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Experience in a mechanical field preferred.
• Safety-conscious mindset and ability to train others.
• Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Maintain progressive stamping die sets for the Top Cap press department.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and improve press production support systems.
• Set up and operate machine tools to machine parts and verify conformance to specs.
• Inspect dies for smoothness, finish, and defect-free contours.
• Train Entry Level Tool and Die Specialists and Tool and Die Specialist 1.
• Collaborate with engineers and advisers on projects.
