Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a precise Tool and Die Setter in our corporate office in Kings Mountain, NC. You will set up stamping dies, adjust presses, load materials, and ensure safe operation.

You will read blueprints, select tooling, test machines, inspect quality with precision tools, and support installations and maintenance while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in metal stamping or manufacturing with press machines or injection molding.
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings; strong mechanical skills with precision measuring tools.
• Must be willing to work extended hours and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate stamping and specialty presses; install tooling and load materials.
• Perform complete die setups and adjust equipment for proper function and safety.
• Test machines to meet specifications; perform quality inspections using precision tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; maintain routine maintenance.
• Support installations and technical projects; assist operators as needed.
