Job description

Job Title: Tool & Die Room Coordinator

Join to apply for the Tool & Die Room Coordinator role at Ice Industries.

Location: Deerfield Manufacturing, Mason Ohio.

Department: Production – 1st shift.

Reports To: Tool & Die Room Team Leader.

General Function: Responsible for safely operating tow motors to move dies in and out of the plant and maintaining all dies.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning, staging, painting, and stencil marking of dies.
  • Updating and maintaining the Deerfield tooling list and inventory spreadsheets.
  • Verifying punch and bushing match print specifications.
  • Scanning and entering PM sheets into Excel databases.
  • Completing monthly preventive maintenance on toolroom equipment.
  • Entering repair tags and updating inventory lists.
  • Maintaining the die barn and ensuring racks are properly identified.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the tool room, including floors and chemical safety.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and proper PPE usage.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Environment includes the tool & die room, plant, die storage barn, and outdoor areas. Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 40 lbs, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, stooping, and operating tow motors and floor scrubbers.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to operate tow motors and overhead cranes (with Deerfield licenses).
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of following directives.
Additional Requirements:
  • Assist with moving dies and backup press operation.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Excellent attendance record.
