Job summary

Top Dog Engineers in California is seeking experienced Tool & Die Makers to build and maintain stamping dies for automotive parts. You will work on progressive, transfer, and deep draw dies, coordinating with other departments to ready dies for production.

Requires 5–7 years with dies, ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings, and GD&T knowledge; Journeyman certification is a huge plus. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and hands-on experience required.
• 5–7 years working with dies, setting up and fixing them.
• Experience with big stamping presses and complex tooling.
• Able to read blueprints and CAD drawings, GD&T knowledge a huge plus.
• Journeyman certification or equivalent experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and fix metal stamping dies (progressive, transfer, deep draw).
• Collaborate with other departments to prep dies for production.
• Troubleshoot dies and resolve issues quickly on the shop floor.
• Handle various tooling types (Stage/Form, Compound, Progressive).
• Perform regular maintenance and precision work on dies.
• Support process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality to maintain high standards.
