Job summary

Mancan Temporary Staffing Employment Agency is seeking a Tool and Die Maker for a local company in Mansfield, OH. The ideal candidate will build and maintain stamping dies, fabricate dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and gauges, and work with both manual and CNC tools to ensure precision and quality.

The role requires skills in blueprint reading, CAD/CAM software, mathematics, and precision machining, with first shift hours from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with possible OT.

Qualifications

• 4 year apprenticeship program completed
• Precise blueprint interpretation and use of precision machining equipment
• Able to perform CAD/CAM tasks with accuracy
• Strong mathematical calculations and trigonometry for tooling designs

Responsibilities

• Must be able to build and maintain stamping dies.
• Fabricate dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and gauges from raw materials using manual and CNC machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, EDM, and wire EDM
• Operate heat treatment and surface finishing equipment to enhance tool durability
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot issues and improve tooling performance
• Maintain organized records of tooling, repair history, and preventive maintenance schedules
